I'm currently feeding Reef Roids once a week. I've heard of people using Brightwell's Coral Aminos as another popular option. I want to hear everyone's favorite and what they feel has worked best for them!

Hmmm, I might try doing a smaller dose too. Ultimately looking for something to supplement the Reed Roids for more varietyI haven't noticed any nutrient swings, no - but I'm only using 1/4 of the recommended dose for my tank size.
I ran out of Reef Roids and haven't had a chance to restock, but will also be resuming this shorty (2x/week).Hmmm, I might try doing a smaller dose too. Ultimately looking for something to supplement the Reed Roids for more variety
@mdb_talon @blaxsun I was dosing Red Sea AB+ daily up until I had a nutrient imbalance (heavy phos and low nitrate) and got cyano. Have either of you noticed any nutrient swings when using it?
Always fun trying to figure out what causes the spikes lol. I struggled with that earlier this yearI do occasionally get a big phosphate spike up to near .1. The last few months I am battling to keep both nitrate and phosphate above 0. Mostly they are staying 0.0 even with very heavy feeding, but occasionally I get that phosphate spike (and it is to 0.0 next day always). It could be caused by the reef energy, but no way for me to really say that it is.
Yes Phos went up drastically after using R Roids@mdb_talon @blaxsun I was dosing Red Sea AB+ daily up until I had a nutrient imbalance (heavy phos and low nitrate) and got cyano. Have either of you noticed any nutrient swings when using it?
