What is Bio base?

So the product information is pretty much "Organic supply system for reef aquariums with normal nutrient content". Is it a carbon source? Since im advised that it might benefit my system from my n-doc results it would be interesting to know what exactly im dosing.

According to triton its nitrogen:phosphorus:carbon in their calculated ratios

How does one go about dosing this? I sent in an NDOC sample as well and was advised to dose, but it doesn't give you any suggested amounts and nothing is on the bottle.
