Those decidedly are not apstasia or manjano that I have ever seen. They look to be a star polyp of sorts to me. But that is just my best guesstimate with the info at hand... What color are they with just white lighting?

With only white channel they are brown.

I'd bet star polyps. Can you feed the shroom and take a clear photo under white lighting only after the shroom closes up? That would help but I'm sticking with star polyps for now.

I'd bet star polyps. Can you feed the shroom and take a clear photo under white lighting only after the shroom closes up? That would help but I'm sticking with star polyps for now.

Yup, some Sp. of star polyp. Keep the frag on the sand and you will be able to keep the polyp in check if that is your desire. The downside is the shroom will not as easily self propagate in the sand, from my experience.
