Hi, I just wanted to see which fish is most liked among different aquarist. Please feel free to name the best fish you have/want in your tank. My top would be longfin or snowflake ClownFish. I have seen them in some local pet stores and they just have such a neat look to them.

I have always wanted a Achilles Tang. I love the coloring. Next would be a Sohal Tang which we have owned and he got to be over a foot long. And last but not least I have wanted a Morish Idol. All of these fish require a large tank which we don't have anymore. :( our largest tank is a 75gallon right now.

1st place - fang blennies. Bold (as in curious), active throughout water column. Reef safe. Fairly colorful. Friendly (except with other fang blennies).

Runner up - yellow assessor. Out and about fairly often, particularly in morning and evening. Reef safe. Just a touch skittish compared to fang blennies. But they make up for it with their antics of swimming sideways, upside down, in loops, etc.

Of course, my experience is limited to fish that are appropriate for a 30g minimum tank size. That said, if I ever upgrade to a larger tank, it will still have a fang blenny in it.

thank you!! my favorite and most active fish! I also hand feed it :)

Im on LiveAquarias notification list for when a small Midas Blenny comes in stock. Whats not to love about all that wiggle.
I do have a larger fire fish, Ive heard they can get aggressive towards them. But Ive got alot of rock work and I am waiting on a small 1-2" one to come in stock.

Actually Midas Blenny is not fang blenny so they don’t have any poison. Also midas blenny form a relationship with lyretail anthias and swim together in the wild to blend in from predators.
