I went with a 20gal Nuvo by innovative marine and what's trying to decide on lighting. I was thinking an ecotech xr15 but was wondering if there was something cheaper with the same output and "tweaking" of spectrums/intensity.

I love the ai prime light. It's small sleek and powerful for its size. I have one on my 29 biocube it works great. And only cost $200

I'm not sure the dimensions on your tank but it covers quite a bit of area. If I recall I believe it's covers upto 20 inches

The Hydra 26 would work for you. I don't know about the "HD"s, I haven't heard of any difference between the standard vs HD.

prime is strong enough for sps but they would all have to be towards the middle of your tank. They have a great app and settings but customer service is pretty bad.Good luck!

I think I am gonna go with the AI Hydra26 HD. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe the HD versions allow you to allocate power to different led spectrums. So if you reduce the output of whites you can use the unused power toward deep blues or w/e color of your choosing. So you can have 104% power to w/e color you choose. Possibly more.

My only concern for the hydra26 HD is that the rail mounting kit only allows for a vertical mount over the tank and not horizontal

Example: north to south and not east to west.

Don't know how else to explain lol.
