I get angry with all the hype, the political bashing and the name calling that goes around.

Wait. That’s my other hobby.
Never mind.

Peppermint shrimp.

"I have some aiptasia, what should I do?"

"Oh, get a peppermint shrimp!"

"Yeah, get a peppermint shrimp!"

"Get a couple peps, that'll clear you right up."

"Yeah, second on the peps!"

Meanwhile, my IM20 is absolutely stuffed to the gills with aiptasia while the three peppermints and the bristletail filefish in it wave at me.

Should have gotten the Copperband butterfly.

If it was a bigger tank I would. 😁 I have a pyramid in my bigger tank that keeps aiptasia gone.
I mean you technically can still put a CBB in your tank. Might not be the best decision but you could, haha This is not serious advice at all.

Well, I've been in this hobby for 16 years, I've made plenty of bad decisions, what's one more?

I'm also not serious.

Hi everyone
What gets on your goat about things in this hobby. Share your anger and vent it
Seeing small tanks stocked with to many fish or fish that will outgrow it in short time. Also seeing tanks that haven't been set up long enough so support the livestock that have been tossed into it. Impatient people that want the established reef tank NOW. Anyone that didn't spend at least a month researching the needs of the livestock they want to keep before doing so. Anyone that thinks they'll get a bigger tank when the current fish outgrow their nano.

Then I have some coffee and get over it. But to be honest, even with my first saltwater tank I had spent quite a while reading magazines and books before I took the plunge. It seems like more people leap before looking these days.

Now get off my lawn. 😁

Torch coral fine for 1 month then they close up never open and . . . polyp bailout fun fun fun
That's what happened with my torch!

#1 the cost
#2 when i cant figure out a problem
Honestly, I try to take a problem as a learning experience and a time for me to learn from other reefers about the issue I am having! Helps me from getting upset about something!
