I only use new life spectrum pellets. I have found them to be the least “dirty” for the water column (ie. Don’t seem to add much nutrient like ammonia and nitrate) and also seem to keep the colors on all of the fish up. My fish are also all very healthy and thick. I do augment my feedings with a veggie clip containing organic nori, but I do this infrequently and randomly.

I have a mixed reef, but it’s still in its infancy. My reef started out as a softy only. I only have 2 SPS corals and maybe 10+ softies. I don’t have any LPS.

I have fish outliving their wild counter parts with Spectrum New Life pellets. Depending on the fish I have in an aquarium I may mix several different sizes in one autofeeder.

Another vote for spectrum new life for the fish- which in turn feed the corals. Also spot feed with reef roids once a week or every other for the lps- it’s just fun watching them eat and only helps w growth n color but prolly not “necessary “. Kinda depends on your fish load

I have heard some rave about New Life Spectrum Marine pellets in this and other posts but after looking at the guaranteed analysis on the label I would recommend using a more nutrient dense food instead.

Saki Hikari Marine. If Hikari is good enough for million dollar koi, it's good enough for my fish. NLS is good, but not all my fish like it. Even the picky ones go nuts for the Hikari.
