Hello Adam,

I am curious which salt mix do you use. Also, from a previous post, I see you supplement Iodine. Do you supplement any other trace elements?

Thank you!
Sean

Wouldn’t it be less expensive and easier to have a chinook fly a large container of water in from a pristine reef?? All joking aside that’s a whole bunch of salt!

Thank you guys! My regular salt has gone up in price, so now I’ve found my next mix.

Kindly following up on this and a question to Adam: why Classic and not their Pro mix? Is this because for the size of your facility it is more economic to start with Classic and add more calcium?

Right, curious to know the reasoning for going with Classic vs Pro.

Well. that's a great question. It's really as simple as the old adage, "if it ain't broke". I've had such good results with the Marine Mix that I never saw a reason to switch.

Curious, what do you use to bring your ALK up since Tropic Marine has such a low dkh from the bucket???

The classic isn't low... it's listed as 9-10 dkh. The Pro is more around 7 I believe.

I use this stuff in my 5g pico and love it!

Ok, I forgot about that, I'm using the pro so I might need to switch over to classic instead... Thx
