I test my nitrates and phosphates, alk, and sometimes calcium! Make sure all of those are in check. Also make sure your lighting and flow is good!

First and foremost: salinity. Get that dialed in by using Randy's DIY calibration solution. I feel like 75% of the paramenter issue threads we see are just simply bad salinity

Second, temperature. This doesn't need to be ketpt super tight but you need a reliable way to monitor it

Third, alkalinity and calcium Salifert is my go to here. Cheap, easy to get, and easy to use IMO

Fourth, nitrate and phosphate. Salifert for nitrate and Hanna for phosphate. These two things will give a good idea of your import/export methods aka filtration.

I have the usual nitrates phosphates alk and calcium so ill check when home...salinity...good idea had not thought of that.
Temp has external display from heater easy to see and keep steady never had an issue with it. Liggts and flow are same as always. Those corals looked way better in recent past which leads me to believe something like calcium or another mineral might be off. Thanks all
