I have a JBJ Cubey 20, so it’s a smaller tank. It’s 18.26” x 16.25” x 18.70”. I think I want to stick with AquaIllumination. My dad is telling me that the light would last longer if I got the light fixture that has two sets of leds, and I could just turn the intensity of it down, rather than get the light that has a single set of leds. Is that how that would work? It would cost me almost two hundred dollars to get the larger lights.

The AI will be fine and doesn't matter if it has two some people want two set of leds so they can do all blues or all white or a mix of both. It won't extend the life of the light if you have two sets, what will is the intensity you run it at will determine that. Really that is preference or budget. With an AI you should be able to grow anything.
