Well I have it on the sand so I’ll move itThey are an SPS coral. They will grow well in moderate to high light and moderate to high flow. They grow relatively fast for an sps coral. Just keep your alk and other parameters stable.

I’ve had it for a while but under pretty weak lightsDepending on distance and how long it’s been on the bottom .
Generally most corals start on the bottom to acclimate to lighting . And gradually over time move up to desired location
knowing what lighting they were under prior to purchasing could compare or make it easier to know were to place it or how fast to move to brighter lighting
And spawn in your tank, I’ll never get one again.Grow fast to the point that they can be evasive
I don’t think lighting is the issue .I’ve had it for a while but under pretty weak lights
They like flow and light, I would slowly throughout the next few weeks get it closer to the top of the tank where it's happy you'll see it's polyps extended if it's happy. Also you'll want it in an area that doesn't have too much shading on the lower part of the coral. How fast do they grow and how high should I have it?
