In all seriousness, my mechanical filtration. I use polyfil and I’m probably going to be saving hundreds in the next few years instead of using other mechanical filters. Go check this poll thread I made recently about mechanical filters.

Good question, but a tough one. For me, it's a toss up between a real sump with refugium that replaced a we/dry nightmare, ATO (gotta have), LED lights that replaced my MH that ran too hot over my tall tank with a drop down ceiling, and my AWC which just made my life a whole lot easier and my corals a whole lot happier. Can't decide. Pick one.

I purchased a used MRC Orca Pro2 skimmer from a R2R member he gave me a great deal and this thing is a Beast. It needed a little cleaning but that was easy and now its like brand new.
