# 1 AWC with mixing station- can’t speak enough for never carrying a bucket through the house or rolling a trash can. Plus, one less thing for my wife to complain about

# 2 APEX due to our travel schedule that includes the trident

# 3 Stratons silent light fixture has its own value to me

1&2 for as long as I own a reef tank is a must for me now

RODI setup because it's way easier than going to the grocery store for distilled water; its just a 4 stage but its better than nothing and my tap water is fairly clean

second, a powerhead, in terms of value added to the tank's health; tunze 6015

Hands-down....my APEX

Been on many vacations and didn't worry much with the ability to monitor tank in real-time. I love my Wyze Cam too.

Not having an Apex is like having a kitchen without a microwave

Original Indonesian Live Rock delivered in sea water I purchased in 2007. I have kept it live since then. Best decision I have ever made.

also my Versa dosers.

Ever since I purchased my system 4 months ago, I had an incredibly difficult time readjusting my water levels with a ball valve leading to the sump. Since a tank crash last week, I installed a simple gate valve from Zoro. I'll never make a better purchase than that valve

Apex, Trident & all the accessories. DOS for dosing & auto water changes.
So nice to have the majority of the tank automated and check parameters on my phone. Flow, temp, PH, Alk, CA, etc...

I'll say that by far one of my best acquisitions for my tank was my AutoAqua Smart AWC. That has made it so I don't deal with buckets anymore. Simple button push and the water change is done. I won't own a tank without one anymore.

Tidal 55 HOB filter. I’m a newbie and I’d bought 2 filters already that were loud and annoying at night had No room for media. The gunk that think picks up out the water....has a skimmer. Solved so many problems for me. Loved it so much I bought a tidal 25 for my freshwater tank

ATO, Dosers, and AWC are the three things that I would probably not run a tank without in the future. Basically I try to automate anything that I have to do regularly.

All of you guys who have said apex are going to end up costing me about $1,600 to get one setup. I've been on the fence about getting one for a while but I can't decide. It looks like it isn't on sale anymore so I probably have until around Thanksgiving to decide, since that will probably be the next time it goes on sale.
