I got free guppies on the last day of kindergarten. They qdied and the trams has caused me difficulty with making attachments with others ever since. Seems to have damaged my memory as well because I cannot recall my first marine fish?

Back in '92, I had a 29g. The first fish in there was a Yellow Tail Damsel. My next tank, a 75g (later upgraded to a 90g), was, yes, a Yellow-Tail Damsel. So with my next iteration (a 203g) I'm sticking to what I know. It'll be a YTD.

He has been highly annoying. Very pretty fish but just a butthead from the beginning. They are extremely energetic. He ate one of my expensive clams. That was my mistake for putting it in the tank.

I got him from Liveaquaria.com but I dont use them anymore. I pretty much soley buy all my fish at another merchant unless I can't find what Im looking for.

I love my Sixline, she/he is very energetic!
And I totally agree. I've been looking at LiveAquaria.com for Undulate Triggers and Clown Triggerfish, which are VERY pricey, but shipping alone is like $50! That's like $300!

Check out Saltwaterfish.com. They have sales all the time and when you spend like 250.00 you can usually get an expensive fish for like 25.00. Plus they have a live chat and have always been so good to me.

Yeah! I saw a deal where you can get a Blue Tang for $19.99. I recommend fishandcoralstore.com

True! They can get huge, depending on the trigger! But, each one starts small. Each species has different needs, prices and my favorite- personality! For some species, I recommend no smaller than 60g and will likely soon need an upgrade; depending on each species growth rate! But Clown Triggers can get huge! ;and very pricey. For clowns, blue lines, and other species, you should have at least 100g+! Queens and Titans get like 2-3 in! So, for those, you need like- you don't ever wanna keep titans. Maybe queens... save for the aquariums.

We got a fire fish and a yellow watchman goby in our tank first. I wanted to start with something other than clownfish.

Caught Saltwater minnows, when we went to the beach. Despite bringing seawater back, my Dad and I, couldn’t keep them alive for long. Didn’t know about the nitrogen cycle, as this was in the early 60’s. First success was a wild caught Squirrel Fish from Key Biscayne, using a Slurp Gun, in the late 60’s.
