I was cleaning my filter today and found these all over my bioballs in my filter. Does anyone know what they are and what I should do about them?

I have already cleaned them off, but I posted two pics with my thread. They look like maggots but weren’t moving when I examined them.

Look like pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeders. Common in overflows.

Hard to tell from the picture but I’d say pineapple sponges
