Maybe it's a new fish, maybe that piece of coral you've been eyeing for weeks, or some kind of equipment you've been carefully saving up for! What's up next on the reefing purchase list for you?

A desktop pico is up next for me!

I have a bunch of purchases lined up, just a matter of which I end up doing first:

First, livestock. Of course livestock. The fish population is still rebounding, and we're only about halfway through my 90g stocking plan. On top of that, we need to bring in more corals to replace what was lost in the RTN event.

Second... replacing my old Radeons with new Nicrew lights. Already had to replace one of them because it gave up the ghost... so in the near future I'll be adding another 100 for the left side of the tank and a 150 or 200 for the center of the tank.

Finally... I need to find a cabinet/rack to set up a berghia cultivation station and a small coral QT tank. Might end up just making the thing, though that would require me to get my woodshop back up and running, which in turn means I need to get the garage cleaned out... so that probably won't be the next thing.

Floor jack and a bunch of drywall doing a fish room and an in wall aquarium on the main floor of the house will take awhile.

I had another thread about boredom with my tank. To keep it interesting, I decided to sell all my leathers and add a lot more SPS. I’m trying to find some of the old school varieties that I had 10-20 years ago.

stuff to build my 125 gallon sps tank

When I get my third tank put together I need a pump first then rocks then Patients

Find a smaller tank for a move, finding it hard to find a quality 40-60 gallon on marketplace in Texas right now. All that’s out there is Red Sea… pass

Sand and a dedicated GFCI for the return pump. Already installed a dedicated GFCII for the other components but recently decided to put the pump on it's on circuit.

I still want to find a RD 3 150 watt pump for my closed loop on my 240

once my pink streaked wrasse arrives from Dr. Reefs, next will be a yellow coris wrasse or a mccosker’s flasher wrasse

Tropic Marin Pro Reef and some Hanna reagents, boooring.

I just sent away for these overly-expensive, overkill, magnetic heater brackets. (To replace 28-cent suction cups). Lol! 🤩
It’s the small things in life. I too made this switch from a free (resting at the bottom of the sump because the suction cups are hard) to this amazing organized magnet lol

I was SO SICK of the suction cups falling off every darn week, I got a similar one to this, maybe it’s a bit slimmer? I have not had to think about heaters since. One of my most satisfying purchases in the last few months. I feel like the expense was easy to justify, but agree they are overpriced for what they actually are.

I just ordered a brine shrimp kit in the hopes of weaning my Rainfords gobies to frozen food. Thankfully they bulked up once they were home, but they are not nearly as chunky as I’d like to see them before they go into display.
