It just started bubbling up, it started out a tan looking color, still a tan looking color

Looks like a mad bubble coral to me. Not seeing the brown jelly anywhere on it. They like low light and low flow. I'd move it into indirect lighting in a low flow area. I bet if you do that he will come on out for ya.
