Anyone know what's going on with my baby?! :( woke up and saw her like this! I hope it's just a cut and nothing infections related. I got the vlamingi about 2 weeks ago in a trade from someone's tank. It was very healthy. She's been eating normally (little pig). No change in mood at all!

Kind of hard to see exactly what is there (I know how hard it is to take a picture of a Tang!) I would try a freshwater dip and see if it falls off first....if you can catch him....If it falls off take some good photos of the parasite and maybe it can be ID'ed so there are not others in the tank...or if there are :-(

I'd like a better picture as well. We'll need the affected area to be in focus. A freshwater dip isn't a bad idea, but in this case I'm thinking it's best to get a better idea of what it is first.

Just a thought. I see that you have Euphyllia. My Purple Tang has had similar marks when coming in contact with my Hammer, Torch or Frogspawn. Tangs skin seems to be pretty sensitive. Usually the marks on mine goes away within a day or two. Hoping she pulls through for you. Hopefully you're going through what I mentioned rather than an infection or parasite.
