I'll answer this question as well. Even though I've got some of the nicer ones, I think my favorite has to be my Labouti Fairy Wrasse. He seems to have a personality unlike my other wrasses, and he's gorgeous looking. Plus, I like how his eyes stick out more than the other wrasses. I'm looking to get a female for him soon.

what's the final list look like?

ive only owned a red headed fairy wrasse. great personality but did not get along with my six line at all. i love all the different colors
yeah, fairy wrasses and 6 line wrasse type don't get along too well. who ended up getting the boot?

I'm also going to have to say the labouti. because I just got one and it is bad to the bone! I paid more for it than I ever have for a fish and I don't regret it one bit.

if I had the chance to get more Attenuatus, I'd probably have 5 of them in my tank and take out all the other flashers. LoL

oh yeah, this thread is about fairy wrasses.

I think a Rhomboid (sp??) is next-I was going to grab the rhombiod but was told those are quite common and the lineatus was not-same price for both-7 red hornets and 4 CAR-WOOOOO WHOOOOOO WHOOOOO-

Flame wrasse are fairy wrasse right? They are my favorite, bright colors you can see from across the room and they aren't shy either.

Has to be the Hawaiian flame wrasse. Such vibrant red and yellow colors and great pesonality. I also like the fact that they are accessable in numbers that allow them to be kept in harems like found in the wild. Too many others, only the males seem to be collected and females are so hard to come by. Oh yeah, I like to do my part to support the American economy

Yeah mine are Hawaiian too, I got them from les at wet pets. Great guy and great fish. I only have one female at the moment but I'd like to get more in the future.

Yea local to me (and a LFS) , GREAT guy, and he gets some killer fish!!

I was after the Rhamboid and he said I needed to see the lineatus, the rhomboid was sweet but I read online that you should jump on the lineatus when it becomes available-Who knows, maybe a marketing ploy-:squigglemouth:

I think my all time favorite was my laboutei wrasse "Bob". He had a great personality and would bob him self up out of the water to see me. I believe my rhomboid tormented him and he surfed to his death even with my netting on the tank. I'll finally be getting a new one real soon!

Next in line is my lineatus wrasse. I just love the coloration on the supermales! I don't think I have a pic.
