At first thought I thought the Imperator, but I know Lamarcks can be up there in price. But then WTTs can also be expensive so I’ll likely say it’s that guy
I think location factors into the price equation too. I’m sure the cost of a Gem isn’t the same as here in the states. Didn’t scroll if mentioned. Apologies

Here's mine. I'm too lazy to try and take photos of everything... :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I checked to see if you put the fish’s names (their personal names) in there, too. If you did, that would make you the ultimate nerd. lol

dang this is hard, Zosters are quite expensive butterflies but that orange shoulder was quite big if I remember correctly. So I guess I will say the Zosters?

My list's not very impressive, LOL. Which's it going to be?

Pair of orange skunk clowns
Royal gramma

I don't have anything super expensive right now. Probably never will, as I've found that at a certain price, the costs/benefit ratio doesn't look good. How much a fish adds to a tank doesn't always go up with the price. Next fish I'm adding is going to be a swarm of damselfish, followed by a foxface and Halichoeres in the future.

Incorrect. :)

I think I paid around $80 for the black zoster. Not expensive.

Orange shoulder tang was also around $80, if I remember correctly.

The yellow tang was a 10 year old Hawaiian specimen from my LFS’s customer. Their tank leaked, and it was during the Hawaii ban time: The yellow tang was $400, and is my most expensive fish to-date. :)

Most expensive (now) is probably the yellow tang - you probably got it when they were way cheaper. I'm going to guess either the Zoster or Copperband.

Addendum: Guess I got that completely wrong on the yellow tang...

From scratch. I did it up in Photoshop, so if you'd like the file just fire me a PM with your email and I'll send it to you (R2R doesn't let me link non-jpeg/png/gif files very well). Everything is in its own layer so it's easy to reposition.
Thats cool, i wasn't sure if someone had made a tool where you could plug in your species and have it make a chart like this.
No sense in sending, id likely not use it as i don't have a computer setup at home at the moment.

Ive thought of a fun game to play, a game of ‘What is my most expensive fish’ where you see eachothers stock (either photos or listed) and then have a guess at what their most expensive fish is in that list. And no this doesn’t mean ‘I have to have one fish that’s over 100 or so, it can be low digits too!

I’ll go first, guess which fish is my most expensive in my 4’ tank;

Plus, this is a good time to count how many fish you have haha, I didn’t realise I had 15 fish in this tank alone.

He was my most expensive wrasse I paid for and if I were to trade him in I could get a good amount for him but not my most expensive theoretically ;)

This is fun! Here’s the current fish.

In the picture:
Golden Rhomboid
Pintail fairy
Exquisite fairy
Tomini
Coral beauty

Missing from photo:
Yellowbanded possum
Mr. & Mrs. Pink Streaked

My maroon clown or six line from years ago would definitely be in the running for most expensive if counting the value of other fish they murdered.

I’m going to guess the blotchy anthias, especially if this was a few years ago before prices came down a little.
