White ball growing on cheato?

Found this growing on my cheato there about 3-4 of them anyone have an idea?

Wow your chaeto is doing much better in your reactor than mine. At first mine was a nice dark green but then it started losing color and fell apart. How long do you run your lights per day? After I cut it back to 12 hours it was better but not great. Not trying to sidetrack the thread.

Looks like a sponge, hard to tell, is there any others in your tank.

No just on the cheato but the thing is almost clear so u can see right threw it.

Mine at first was starting to brown up almost like burning the tips so I start to turn the lights on everyother day and that helped big time now it's a really nice dark green color instead of the lime green

Could be a tunicate. They're typically easy to see through.
