Any one knows what’s going on with my Mille? It’s been turning white and dosent look like STN. It still has its polys and growing on the white. I have moved it down because I thought light could be the problem. Parameters are stable. I did had an alk spike about a month ago.

Could it be from point-source light shadowing? Mille is not one of the easier acropora and people have struggled with them under point-source lights that are not way up high. It is hard to tell from the picture.

If an alk swing was doing to do any damage, it does not take a month. Rest easy about this one.

Actually this is his new spot. Just dropped it down to mid tank. It looks like it has stopped. Little bit of shadow its because a return pipe on the top.

What are your nutrients at? I notice when I don't have a decent source of nutrients/food for my so, they tend to become super pale while still maintaining polyp extension

Hmmm that can be something. Phos is at .09 the last time I checked. And yes some of my other acros are a little pale
