White polyp toadstool leather?

New coral. I don’t think it’s completely opened yet. It was marked as a leather, and it had white polyps. Is that a thing?

It got stung by my hammer a week ago so has not reopened and actually seems to be splitting in half. I can try and get a picture after school tomorrow if it’s open though. Yours is what mine looked like before though.

I have a white tipped leather and another one that is green but has white polyps. Both have greenish bases when no polyps out.
