Can anyone help me identify what this might be? It popped up overnight and I’m not sure whether it’s a disease or my clown being an idiot and brushing up against something.

It can be sand or ich. Ich is generally more than one white spot as the same goes with velvet and oodinum. Keep an eye on it to see if it progresses.

Yea, it’s possible. My only thought though is that it’s a pretty decently large, singular spot. But I could have very well caught it early.

So the Mark ended up healing and left a black spot, which I’m assuming is just the scar,. But now I think my clown is an idiot because he’s got another bumpy spot under his lip.

Okay so here’s an update on this special little guy. He has a white pimple that doesn’t seem to go away, and he keeps trying to run it off on the substrate but it doesn’t look like ich, flukes or velvet of any sort. Does anyone have any advice? #reefsquad

How long has he had it, and does it appear to be getting worse?

I noticed it on Friday after he was skating all across the tank glass at night while he was sleeping, and it’s stayed the same size since then, without it growing bigger or multiplying.
I'd keep observing it for now since it has only been a few days and watch to make sure it doesn't get any worse.
