White stringy,slimy stuff in my tank???

Hi- can somebody tell me what this stuff is attached to my back wall? It first appeared about 4 days ago and then again this morning in a different spot a few inches away from the first spot?
Any clues?

Some type of eggs. Possibly snail?

Ya know that's exactly the spot I saw my nassarius last night before I went to bed. So, how long until they hatch? And is it a good thing to keep so many snail in my BC29 gal.? I already noticed a bunch of little tiny white snails all over my rocks, wall, etc.....how many snails is too many?

I wouldn't worry about too many snails until you have zero algae.
