i was one back in the days i was collecting headphones....ofcourse there werent as many different kinds as u see em now......

now i am in the market for another one......yesterday i went to bestbuy to check few of em out and i saw dr.dre beats....bit heavy but nice quality and bose has few different aswell.....any one out here had experience with any of these and wanted to share their thoughts...

Ever been to a site called innerfidelity? Apparently even Bose is low grade to the real headphone enthusiasts. With that said, there's no way I'd ever spend a grand on a pair of headphones. I'm happy w my Bose earbuds

I have a pair of Klipsch that I love. I didn't think the cost difference was worth the extra money for the Beats by Dre headphones. Plus, they're too "bling" for me.

Beats are low quality imo I have had all of them and returned every pair I actually blew 2 pairs of them . They have alot of bass and thats it if you want good quality headphones don't pay for the look or name of them . Bose are great but there are alot better for the money like beyerdynamic and similar headphones you don't see professional bands using dre beats only football players and famous rappers . But never in the actual studio recording only for " show " .. It really depends what kind of sound your looking for , very clear flat eq'd , heavy bass , the list go's on .

I don't get the fascination with the Beats brand. Their headphones are EQ'd to be heavier in bass, which obviously amazes listeners switching from iPod earbuds. If you listen to music with heavy bass, then you might hear things you never noticed before. But the same could be said for any other bass-heavy headphone. It's me not soremarkable sound "quality;" it's just a larger woofer and bass boost. But if that's what you want, then go for it. They seem to charge a lot across the brand, though.

Exactly ...... nuff said

Got a pair of Beats new for about half price. Love them but I only use them on planes and mowing the yard.

i love my Skullcandy Aviator and my mix masters. The aviators are the most comfortable headphones i've ever had.

I own a pair of the Studio Beats By Dre. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I have some Beyerdynamic DT250's that I've used almost daily for about 6 years now... still work and sound great!

Bose and Beats are considered low quality from people into audio. Are you looking for in-ear earphones or over-the-ear headphones? For headphones or earphones, look at Seinnheisser. For headphones there is also Grado, Audio Technica and AKG. For earphones you can also look at Ultimate Ears (that's what I currently use), Shure (what I bought my wife) or Westone (what I'm considering getting).

I've owned Beats by Dre Tour... Overpriced! Sound like the stock Apple headphones.

Beats By Dre Studio great sound noise canceling but a lot of noise leaks to people around you. And makes your ears sweet, and not as durable As the price would make you think.

Beats by Dre Pro currently using Great Quality Great sound comfortable My 2 year old uses them with his iPad. My favorite.

Bose In ear headphones are the best and most comfortable ear buds I've used.
