What brand of salt are you using? Double check your equipment inside and outside the tank, also buckets and pumps you used for water change. Salinity?
been use red sea pro for 4 years now never a problem
i check all the stuff i cant see anything wrong i have four tanks running and this is the only one giving me problems

From my experience with acans in the last 6 years I have notice this occurring when bacterial infection take hold. If your nitrate are at 10 then that might be feeding the the aerobic bacterias. Dipping in iodine might help the infection. But I would suggest separating the infected acans in to a QT system. With low light and flow. If you have any acans that are infected on one side and not the other cut the infected portion off. Good luck bud this is why I sold off all my acans they can be touchy. trust me it was hard this is what my acan and chalice tank looked like prior to the sale!

Is it possible to move all of them to another tank? Check all your parameters besides the big 3, like Ammonia, Nitrites etc...hope everything works out for you.

ya i guess i can move them i check 15 times all good in my book damm i hate watching money go down the $hitter lol
mit have to find i new hobby like needle point
damm that would not work just end up stabing my self in the eye

ya i been doing the same way for 4 years now i am running 4 tanks now damm i hate acans:cry:
i said that once when i lost 3 of my best but not my favorite , like i said toss the infected and shade the rest, or cut the timer back and raise the light, it they are sick the arent growing and they dont need the light so much till they heal

Are you running a refugium? if so check their and see if you are breading bacterias like cyano. Usually in low flow area it accumulates fast. Just remember to do any changes slow to aggressive and you will end up with other issues.

let em know ct is not to far

Something similar happened to my acans.....I lost some beauties one by one.....they all seemed to develop a bacterial infection (of course this is just my guess). Mine happened a month or two after I purchased a couple new acans that I think brought some acan specific infection with them as none of my chalices, favias, or other LPS have been affected. I only have a few acans left and I don't plan on buying any new ones until someone can figure out what is going wrong. Like you, my parameters were spot on. I tried interceptor and dips with no success. I don't know why some remained and others died off.....

good luck,
Darren
