The purple has hhle from prev owner so i dont really like him plus he killed a coral beauty angelI think so, I’d keep the purple and rehome the sailfin. Just me. I have mine in a smaller set up w a YT and other anthias and flamehawk and bossy big Starkii
Its ignoring it for now The wrasse is 80% submerged in the crushed coralI think the Picasso trigger may bother/kill the Melanurus
He went in deeper I saw him, I might lose track where he is nowYou may want to provide finer deeper sand rather than roughy coarse coral. I guess that is why he cannot get completely under the sand. That got to be stressful for him.
Ho much sand? Mine's a 125. I have:125 with locks of caves and:
4" blue hippo
4" sailfin tang
3.5" purple tang(might rehome him)
3.25" picasso triggerfish
7" foxface one spot
A pair of clowns
Maybe 7 hours, but my purple tang killed a coral angel before in 6-7 hours, it was beat up but swimming and eating then poof goneWOW, really insane is was that fast
No his tail is gone dude... even his body, it looks like a piranha's meal that hasnt been finishedHe was probably injured from the crushed coral. They need semi fine sand to burrow when scared and sleeping. Sorry
$75 wasted and a wrasse to the graveyard. I wonder which is worse Most burrowing wrasses need fine sand. It sounds like the poor thing got its fins chewed off because it couldn't completely burrow in to substrate.Didnt make it, his tail is gone, he can barely swim, who could've been-i dont know, $75 wasted, all were well fed, etc. I blame the triggerfish but I have 0% proof
