Will my Scoly flatten out?

I received a scoly about a week ago and it is shaped like a taco. It seems very healthy and full. It has a huge feeding response as well. Is this common? Will it fully open given time? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully this helps. This pic is from the vendor right before I got it. It appears to be folded a little more in my tank. My water parameters are great.
There is also some recession, but it is old recession and healing. I got this piece for a steal. Also, how does it look to you in general?

Can you post a current pic?
I would put in a low flow and not too much light for the meantime.

Thanks for the reply. I do have a corner in the back of my tank which is somewhat shadowy with low flow.
