Will sps pests die if no sps are present

Ok so it's like the title says. If a person has had some kind of sps pest such as nudi or redbugs anything at all. If all sps are removed to a quarantine tank or they just all stn. However it happens there all out of the tank will the pests that feed on the sps than die as well. I haven't ever really heard to much information about this. It seem like to me that if there's no sps the pests would then in turn dies as well. I know this isn't ideal for most people but if a person got a pest early on in there tank that was sps related. Then just waited to add sps for a while would they be safe

If the bug relies strictly on sps, then yes they will die. Dip dip dip in the quarantine for 6-8 weeks using bayers :)

Not sure about RB but AEFW yes.
You need to remove all SPS and encrusting's on the rock.
It still takes about 6 weeks total as eggs may be on rocks but when hatch they will start looking for food.
It's also wise to add some fish to the tank that will hunt the pest, all kind of wrasses and damsels do a good job on that.
When SPS are removed dip them in QT for 8/10 weeks, every 5 days with a triple dose.
Remove all lower parts of the SPS and inspect for eggs.
How do I know................ Cat (@tektite) who works together with Kate Rawlinson did a few experiences on this, Also Adam from @Battlecorals told me one and other about this process.
