No doubt I will still keep them in the QT for the next three months however, I was just wondering whether or not I should start the copper treatment. I guess it doesn’t hurt, I just wouldn’t want for them to go through unnecessary stress if it weren’t the case. I just wish there was an easier way to discern 100% if this is ich or not.
If they haven't gone through QT (with medications) - IMHO, it takes the disease issue out of the equation for future fish

I got to open video now and wobbling swim pattern often associated with secondary bacteria or brook. Cant say this is what you are enduring but assure no loss of weight-appetite and color as well as labored breathing and even lethargic behavior.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
