putting together a 40 breader and trying to figure out should i use the current marine pro 36"light or 2 kessils a160
doing a mixed tank with minimal sps
i have a smaller 24"current usa pro on a 20 long and have no problems growing just about anything including 3 clams that have grown nicely.
$ 300 difference between them
any thoughts?

I think one kessil might be enough. At a certain height the light expands more. From what I understand it should be enough to use one kessil. I just set mine up last night. I have an sbreeflight on mine. The 32" timer and seems to be working nicely and the color looks awesome

The one kessil should do fine^ I don't know anything about your current light, but kessils are great in my opinion

I wonder if he means orbit marine pro
Maybe. If that's the case I would switch to kessil but then again, I know a few people who use them and they seem to do pretty good

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
