See I got the skimmer outlet pipe going up over to the next chamber thinking the skimmer would only be sucking in return water from the tank. What do peoole think. Is this overkill or will it help..kinda defeats the ourpose of the bubble trap I was thinking but now the return oumo is sucking in all clean water from the skimmer and a little tank from the left side

I would think it adds more back pressure to your skimmer and could impact performance.. that said,I dont think you should worry about it so long as the water the pump pulls from is replinished at a greater rate than the pump can pickup.
