WWC Gold Subscription Review

Hello everyone! This is my first post on Reef2Reef. I have been a big fan of WWC and I have been wanting to get the subscription boxes for a while now. I selected the 3 month gold box since I want something unique compared to my local reefers. Below is what I received and [retail cost (before sale)] as well as their 4/16/2021 R2R Sale Cost.

R2R Sale Total = $276
Based on what I received and their condition I would say I am happy. I know I could have found them cheaper, or got them from the sale and saved month that way.
Overall 4/5. When I receive my second box I will update this thread. I still highly recommend this box for any new reefers, someone looking for something new, or someone who likes surprises yet indecisive.

This is just my opinion. This isn't directed towards WWC or their company practices. I plan on ordering again and will be continuing my support of this company.

I hope this helps someone who is considering ordering from WWC. And congratulations to WWC and the team on the West Coast Sources initiative.

My experience with WWC was just me out 100% of my money with DOAs. Glad they were alive for you lol.

I have just looked at their website and I have no idea how it works. Maybe they've changed it but I can't see a 'Gold' subscription.

The only option that they list is a $99 box where you can choose 1, 3, or 6 months (which is presumably 1 box per month looking at the prices).

I'm guessing you paid more than $99 for your box?

I got the gold last month but I agree with what you're seeing. I used an old link to purchase it. I should mention I selected the LPS and Zoas only for the first month.

Did you contact them with proof? Also they have a 10 day warranty.

I got the corals 3/15 and already have new growth.

I have never heard of anyone having an issue with them not covering doas. Did you get ahold of them with proof?

They have some of the best packaging in the business and out of my 5 orders all have always arrived perfectly healthy.

That doesn't look like a bad deal if you're happy with their selection.

I completely agree. I just know I've seen similar corals from hobbyist for less. But when you consider shipping and needing to hunt down those rock bottom prices it just reiterates the saving of the coral club. Plus it was a lot of fun. Similar to Christmas.
