I dont know how these function. Typically when a pump stops all of a sudden there is something jamming the impeller. If this has an impeller that may be the issue. If this works like a dosing pump the hose inside might be clogged or the rollers may be bad. If this is a diaphragm pump the hose might be clogged or the diaphragm might be damaged. You will have to open it up and take a look.

So I downloaded the user manual. Its a dosing style pump. Also looks like there are sensors involved. I have not seen these before. Does 1 work and the other doesnt? Open it up and check the hose inside for bends or kinks or blockage and the rollers for obvious damage. Most of the dosing heads are usually replaceable try switching them if one is working and see if the one that is working stops with the other head installed. If it does not then its something in the sensing part and idk how to fix that.

Both pump same issue stopping at middle of the cycle of pumping. I’m not sure if it’s over used already and need replacing or just because it’s haven’t been used for a while. I will work on it tonight so let both run and see where it stop.

Yeah the hose may be kinking. Or could be a programming issues or sensor issue. Rule out hose first and go from there.

When it reaches 645 it jam because it will start to rotate faster. I try adding some grease no help.

Like I said I dont know a lot on this particular product. But its basically the same as a dosing pump. Is 645 a time or a measurement of volume? How long has it been running when it hits 645 either way? You can get replacement heads which do need to be replaced every so often and the same goes for the hoses. Its possible that either or both are worn out. It could be that the stepper motor is just worn out too. I am not sure if this unit has one motor controlling both heads or two motors, but it makes sense that if one was stopping the other would stop also as a safety feature if two. Any idea how it was maintained or how long its been in service and for what amount of volume? This could also be a programming issue or sensor issue I am not real sure atm though. What do you have it programmed to do?

The device, previously used on a 500-gallon reef tank for approximately one year, has a dual-motor design. While the motors themselves appear functional, a defect emerges when the connecting tube is used.

Without the tube: The two motors operate without any issues.

At half speed: The tube can be used without problems.

At full speed: The tube becomes jammed, impeding function.

The tube is likely stretching under the increased stress and pressure from the motors operating at a higher speed. This could be a material degradation issue.

Might be a good idea to pick up 2 new heads and 2 new tubes. I saw a few different threads on this unit and seems like head and tube replacement was anywhere from 6 months to a year.
