Would an XR-15 be enough light for a reefer 170 primarily sps?

Also, if you can elaborate on what kind of SPS, that will get better posts... acropora are on a different level than montis, birdsnest, poci and stylophora.

Okay so I have a potential seller who is willing to sell me 3 month old xr-30 gen4 pro, for dirt cheap. Should I go with 2 xr-15, since I have 1 already just buy another, or sell the xr-15 and use the xr-39 this will be going on a red sea reefer 170

Xr30pro is the same as two single xr15s. I prefer two singles so that you can adjust the light spread better. I’m currently only running 1 in AB+ at 100% and I get 200 par on the sandbed.

No, XR15's are pro level then there is non-pro and pro XR30's. So two XR15 same output as XR30Pro.

BRS investigates has a pretty good video showing spread and PAR you should look at. It's on a 24" x 24" cube.
