I got a yellow sea slug a couple days ago. He's on the glass of the tank staying attached. Full color. Not pale. Feelers and antenna fully extended and moving. But he himself has literally not moved an inch. Is this normal?

Yes it can be.
Was it a mail order from a company ? How did you do you're acclimation ? Did you notice a smell when you opened the bag ?

They are very delicate animals. Being basically a bag of water , salinity acclimation can be an issue.

When I got my lettuce slug it did like to just stop , usually net the top of the tank and not move at all.

Our yellow cucumber (water column filter feeder, not sand eater) lasted 7 months. Beautiful color and neat creatures.
Afraid to kill another one.
Hope yours does well.
