I want to get a 10G nano tank to give my aggressive clownfish his own heaven. I think I can just use some of the cycled rocks and water from my current tank..

All in one sort of seems a lot easier but might add a better light for an anemone.

Was wondering what your preference was between the 3 AIO system

1. Waterbox Cube 10
2. Fiji cube 10
3. Innovative Marine 10

I like the all in ones from innovative marines but maybe cause the shallow look from their bigger tanks appeal to me.

I can’t tell you how much I love the innovative marine 10 gallon. that said, if you have the space, I’d also recommend the Waterbox 20. Both tanks I kept for years with great success. Just do one or two fish, and make sure you’re changing the water every week, and you’ll be able to keep anything.

I purchased a 10g Fiji Cube with the intention of using it as a desktop tank, didnt end up using it but it was a well put together AIO for the price. Loved the large size of the rear chambers

I’m just curious is it ok to use your other tank water to cycle a new tank? I’m currently setting up a new tank and if that helps cycle it faster then I’d love to do that too haha

LOL! Okay I was thinking of innovative #1 and waterbox 2... for some reason the marketing image on waterbox just looks way better.
Time to order yay!

Honestly, I’m not sure..... but when I do a water change I normally take out 60G.. so I figured it might be easier on my clownfish..

I also have rocks in there that’s been in the big tank, so I’ll be adding the existing rocks but new live sand.

If.. the clownfish doesn’t survive.. I shall keep you posted haha. But I’m planning to test all the waters before attempting to catch the aggressive clownfish and rehoming him

I just cycled a WB10 about 2 months ago. I absolutely love it.. upgrade the filter sock to a media basket and maybe the return pump for a high GPH. The one that comes with it is not rated very high.

I have not seen any IMs in person but their glass edges and silicone seems to be very thick or bulky looking. Again, I've only seen pictures.

+1 for WB10

Keep me updated! My friend tried doing that and it didn’t work well for her, but it’ll help me with my new tank if I know that it cycles faster. Wow, a 60 gallon water change, how big is your tank?

Ahhh yes that’s what it was. The edges on the box wasn’t as pretty as the WB10! I wish I can just see them all in person at a store haha.

Right I think we need patience.. when it comes to reef tank.. but I’m one of the most impatient person... LOL.
I have a total of maybe 410 Gallon (350 DT and the rest is sump).. who knows maybe I’ll just disassemble everything and turn it all in to nano tanks muahah. Nano tanks seems so much prettier since you can fill it up easier

I have some pictures of the WB10 if you view my build thread, I can send you more close ups tomorrow if that's helps. Otherwise you might be able to find some good reviews on youtube

Ah! I just saw it! Love how you listed everything you purchased. I was looking into what type of lights as well since mainly it might be my clownfish and maybe .. anemones.. we shall see if my current rose BT splits again. I recently started to use triton method for my current tank, that’s why I’m going to try to use the water from the big tank.. maybe from the end of the sump after it went through all the “cleaning”. All the copepods.. and other goodies... almost feel bad using the clownfish as a test subject but.. he’s been a jerk to my other fish.. lol

I’ve finally mastered to do water change by myself... but I think that alone takes maybe 3 hours.. was trying to see if I can add ATO but the sump area is too limited and it’s right next to the kitchen area so I can’t really have an ATO container outside of it.. currently adding 2.5-3 gallons a day just from evaporation it seems like.. on the bright side I haven’t traveled yet due to the zombie apocalypse. So I have a bit of time to automate it more.. I hope
