Late at night if I focus my vision on a single rock I’ll eventually notice these little critters. They kind of look like little bugs. Any clue as to what they are? Are they an issue or just beneficial biodiversity to the system?

Howdy everybody,
I was up late and decided to flash the ol flashlight on my aquarium to see who was working the Night Shift and I saw this little guy flash by me. It’s a tiny transparent shrimp. Can anyone ID the little fella? As a bonus assignment there is also another random critter he...

Hi all, a few days ago i noticed some weird bumps on my torch coral skeleton… i thought nothing of it until the emerald crab i tossed in (who likes to hang out under said torch) has what looks like it on his carapace as well… i cant tell if it’s spreading on the torch skeleton itself.
i spent...
I just noticed this orange glow under the night lights of my aquarium. It’s extremely difficult to get a good picture of it under any lighting. It is located at the bottom of a base rock.
it has orange polka dots around a dark middle part. It doesn’t move at all either. Super curious as to what...
Over 3 months in and I’m still finding unknown critters at night. I need help identifying this crab. I’ve never seen a crab like this with such long antennae. It is really little and only comes out at night.
P.S. I apologize for the shaky camera work. I had a flashlight in one hand and the...
Hey y'all!
Woke up to a bunch of these white, oval-shaped critters on the glass. I'm not sure if they're copepods, as I have copepods in the tank and they look nothing like them. They're not snail eggs, as these critters do move. In the attached picture, the blue critter is what I think is a...
I have all of a sudden noticed a large amount of white critters on my rock where there’s algae and on my glass when the lights have gone out.
I’ve dossed copepods before however they never looked like this ...
Any ideas many thanks.

Just woke up this morning and got ready to do my daily zoa growth picture and I found these little guys on one of my frags. Should I be concerned, my zoas don't seem to be closing at all. They're white and have very small antennas from what I can see.
I hunted around the hitchhiker and critter I.D. forums for a while now and haven’t seen anything like this, if it’s there and I missed it I apologize. I turned off the blue light for this picture, critter in question is to the right of the little gsp clump. Antler looking thing started from...
Hi everyone!
I have read plenty abo it how bristleworm a are mostly good with the exception of one kind. I don’t think this one is that bad type but I suspect this fella was doing something I’m not too happy about.
I have a cauliflower coral right by where I spotted him today. A couple of days...
Hi everyone,
I’ve had this nudibranch in since I set up my aquarium about 5-6 weeks ago. I don’t have many corals in the tank yet but he still is lurking in the shadows, I’ve noticed he’s nocturnal.
I just wanted to see if anyone knows what kind of Nudi it is and if it may become an issue for...
Just got the coral not even 30 minutes ago and saw this guy crawling around on the bag. At first I thought it was a snail but it doesn’t have a shell and I’ve never seen before. Any ideas? I’ll also attach a pic of the rock with coral that it came on below, I’d also like help in identifying the...
Hi all, hoping for an ID on this or these things. Hiding in my rock. I had a look through the sticky and nothing except maybe hydroids came to mind. You see it move something out of its hold and it seems to be popping out of multiple points in the rock. These were taken during the middle of the...
Hello all just wondering if these are amphipods or something else and should I be considered? There are TONS floating around in my tank and I just saw them tonight after lights out. I don’t see them during the day at all and they’re all just floating about, not on the sand bed at all. They...
I’ve noticed that the Skeleton on my purple bubble has been receding recently ( 1st pic ) and I’ve noticed that white circular thing with a hole in it growing below it ( 2nd pic ) not sure what that is but is it dying? I’ve already lost a green bubble awhile back and I’ve had this one for around...
I found this in my tank a couple days ago. I have been searching for an ID on it since but am still at square one. Any help pointing me in the right direction, or anyone who knows whether it is safe to keep in display would be greatly appreciated.
I thought one of my kids dropped a marble in the...

Is it harmful to my reef? I’ve been reading mixed information on it.
Thanks so much! And have a wonderful day

Hello there. If anyone can help identify what this is on my glass. It's not air bubbles. They seem to be swaying and sticking to the back of my tank.
Also note that we have added trigger pods about a month ago in the back of our AIO tank.
Tried getting a better picture in clearer lighting but...
So I placed an order for some inverts and everything came as requested, but an extra bag was in the shipment and a shrimp I didn’t order. I enjoy all the different inverts, I think they’re mostly fun curious creatures so I don’t mind keeping it. The concern of course is compatibility with...
So I noticed some closed up polyps over the last few nights and I saw these little spots that thought could be sand from me stirring to clean the glass but upon inspection we’re moving. Not sure what they are if they’re bad or how to remove them any help is much appreciated
