That sentence has a math or grammer issue.

If you mean

100ml of .1 HCI added to 400 ml of RODI water. Then add another 500ml of RODI water to a total of 1000ml.

then that makes 0.05 N. :)

That would make 0.01 N HCl not 0.05 HCl

Just want to reiterate that .1N is what you want for DIY reagent for KH Director.

I am using .5N and diluting 200ml into 800ml of RODI to make .1N

Always remember that you MUST be very very careful when using concentrated solutions of acids like HCl or sulfuric acid

Today I received the hydrochloric acid .1m / .1N I just wanted to confirm this is the right one and no dilution is needed.

I will do the first test with the KH director.
