Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I’ve got grilling steak to a perfect medium rare. It’s timed based on thickness and when you flip it the side that was facing up gets two minutes less. When I was sick I didn’t eat solid foods for over a year and I binged the food network. I believe I learned it there.
My brother had to stop working for health reasons and he has since become the best cook in the family from watching cooking shows and trying things. Lol I miss living near him because I got to be his taste tester often.

Does it have vinegar on it?
There is a Mississippi gold that is mustard based. I like ot more as a marinade. But the Southern sweet is very sticky, dark, and sweet, with just a little smoke. It caramelizes very nicely on ribs etc.

They have covers you can get to protect the fish from critters that might work for your husky. By the way if you mention a dog you must provide a picture of the dog. I think it's in the smorgs rules somewhere...
I will!

That would be yummy!

My wife always wanted a husky because they are shed free.🤣
You need to introduce her to the internet Kevin, she seems sheltered.

We had friends with huskies and it was a constant fur storm but sweet beautiful dogs.

I rarely cook with sauce I add it after based on what I’m in the mood for or what I’m trying to create but 90% of my bbq is plain and simple use a binder typically mustard then rub with salt and pepper straight to smoker

Now if I’m doing something i really want some complex flavors and have a crowd to please or show off too I have a lot of different sauces marinades and binders and rubs I like to use

Steaks - NO SAUCE EVER!
Yes a good steak needs no sauce ever!

I love them but that is why I would never own one! Too much hair and they require too much grooming to keep them looking good.

Some people do blasphemous things like put A1 or Heinz 57 on them. 😲
Ya, I’ve never used steak sauce. I tasted A1 once, not on a steak, and thought it was disgusting. There are bigger nut jobs out there that dip their steak in Ketchup. They should be rounded up and put in Alligator Alcatraz!

Yes! Lol

One way to really mess up a steak is too over cook it! I like mine medium to medium rare.
Agreed. Although I like mine more toward rare

Just use a real wood fire in an old school barrel smoker like a real man. None of this electric, compressed pelet garbage. At that point you're just using an outdoor microwave.
I used to have a smoker I built out of a wood stove and an old pressure tank. The pressure tank rotted out, so I combined the wood stove with another old wood stove to make a new smoker, but it's not finished. My brother came in his service truck and helped me start (I don't have welder, etc. here). He was all, we'll get together again and finish it. Then he started spending time with a young woman, they got married. He changed jobs and doesn't have a welder on his company truck anymore, so...
