The three peppermint shrimp I put in the sump smeared the aptasia in there. I know in your tank they would be trigger food. In my DT the flame hawk would probably eat them, and I'm not sure about the big rabbitfish.

Where you can't use peppermints due to the presence of certain predatory fish, maybe the Molly Miller blenny is a good alternative. That's another good idea not sure if the holes are big enough to let stuff go into the filter.

There are similar bags with a looser mesh used for things like Siporax or other loose media. In fact the majority of media bags I have bought online were too open for my carbon.

I'm waiting till BF and plan to try a score a deal on an Ecoflow or Bluetti ~2Kwh 1500W or better. The Bluetti one is nice that you can swap out batteries. This would be for when I'm away or for overnight. I have a portable back up generator but I really don't want to hear that at night or have to set an alarm to go check on gas level etc...

I have also been looking at those. I don't even have my network on backup any longer because I was using a large rack-mount UPS and the battery died. It's $300.00 just for the battery and I don't need that size UPS now that I've shut down the server. In fact I'm not even using the rack. I need to get a small UPS to keep the network online but I also want something else big enough for the tank and maybe the fridge. Whole house would be great but power outages here are actually very infrequent. Decisions, decisions. Power or coral?

I was scrolling through that biota site and saw there's another aiptasia eating nudi there. anyone ever try or heard of a Spurilla one? $70 and they get up to 3" in size? that should devour everything. I wonder if they eat regular anemones and such too?.
