Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Cyno has been going on for about a month or more.
Finally decided to test.
Nitrate-next to 0.
Phos-.43.
Really against gfo after all the years of using it. Also just don't have the energy to monitor it all the time.
Thinking biopellets again....
Thoughts?

I'm under the impression that you are okay as long as tds is 0.
Also I base a lot of it on incoming tds.
At 40, it'll last awhile.
Mine is only 10 so I replace filters at 8 months but resin at 1 year.
Either way it's still 0 when I replace it but it makes me feel better. :smiling-face:
mine was at 0 and started filling the jugs. when I came back, it's now at 1. so I'm going to fill the next jug too and keep those for the humidifiers. That gives me 14 gallons of humidifier water. Don't have the new filters yet but I was able to get 7 gallons of 0 TDS and now will have another 14 gallons for humidifiers and plants. so I think I must get maybe 125 gallons filtered before the TDS goes to 1.

To increase No3? Feed heavy for a couple of days or talk to Tim, he is been dosing No3 with good results

What do you recommend I buy to get this working to lower Po4?

Yeah I'm thinking of that Luis good call.
Upping nitrate will definitely help but the overfeeding isn't working.
There's also about 60 pounds of rock in there.
Thinking of maybe taking some out, putting it in the big tank??

@kingranch2003 i am going to try your aqua rocks place. do they ever send out any coupons or anything?
I haven't seen any. I really wish they did because, their products are fantastic. They may have something going on Facebook though. I don't have fb. I will say that I Love the shelves. I've got some pics. I can't remember if I sent them to yall or not
