we got the whole cow done and gave a bunch to my son who is getting married next month. @BubblesandSqueak , thats the nice part of getting a cow done up! theres parts i dont care for either and you just tell the butcher to do those into burger or cube steaks or whatever. (and give the unmentionables away! or save for the dogs)

cube steaks are only available here at Shaws. I buy those once in a while to marinade in Tabasco sauce and fry in a pan. it's cheap meat but that isn't bad that way.

I cut mine in strips, dip in milk and seasoned flour and fry em up. Make some gravy with the leftover milk and seasoned flour. MmmMmmm. That’s why I’m fat lol.

I dip mine in egg then bread it in cornmeal and flour and various seasonings and then fry in olive oil because olive oil makes everything healthy right? ROFL

years ago I've bought turkey to roast just for the crispy skin and pork to fry the fat :flushed-face::face-with-rolling-eyes::zipper-mouth-face:
I made stuffed pork chops for someone once and she was thrilled with the fried fat. tried to get me to buy a fat suet. ummm thats taking it tooooo far! but seriously, next time you have pork chops, cut the excess fat into small pieces (1/8x1/2x1") sizes or so. fry it in the pan separately till golden brown and crisp. its better than bacon. we had a name for this growing up but it doesn't come up on searches. pronounced like squa key. the fight was over who got to smear the rye bread slice in the grease in the pan. something that must be from old world.

I heard sesame oil is the bees knees here!. though I found out later it cooks at a lower temp so it burns faster if you cook on high. but I'm guessing you need to omit "egg" these days for a replacer. this is getting ridiculous. I would like to find an ostrich egg to cook at least once.
