Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
The final downpipe isn't glued in. We are thinking of gluing rocks and stuff to a similar pipe and replacing that one to make the pipe less obvious.
Nice idea Wes!
Hiding the equipment from inside the tank had always been the hardest for me.
Sometimes they can be such an eyesore.

late night post, but have been out on the river crappie fishing. Wife asked if its good to fish after a storm, I said I don't know, so off to the river we went. The bite was terrible, only small crappie caught, released all of them

Looks like you had much better weather than we did. It's been really wet here, even for a western Oregon winter.

So there's a guy on Instagram that did a PAR measurement comparison using a bunch of different PAR meters - Photone (free cellphone app) was the closest to the Apogee 510.
I tried this app but didn't really know what I was doing can someone tell me how it works?

I have it, but did not know how accurate it is. I have another PAR meter, i can do a side by side here in just a few minutes

Ok, I did clean my camera lens, the pic is a screen shot of a video of the meters I took holding my laptop. The APP says diffuser required, but its real close to the PAR meter I have. I tried it with the PPFD METER app I also have and its way off at 12 (kitchen LED lights turned all the way up) sorry its upside down, they are real close

Will test under stronger light shortly, wife is still asleep, we were out on the river after dark, and up late, I will let her sleep and not make a bunch of noise
