Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Yes agreed.
If you can cut out gluten, which is not good for you anyways, it's a major start at a much healthier lifestyle.
Gluten definitely doesn't help me. People can say what they want about fat or cholesterol. They way you eat with the lean meat, artichokes etc. and the spring water, that's how we were meant to eat.

@Remi How is everything? Your tank is en fuego right now. Lol the topic of the day is magnesium. Do you test for this element?
Hi John, I just tested it 1 hour ago. New tank 1350 I am increasing since it was 1200 something and the old tank 1440. But alk was down on the old tank normally it is between 8 to 8.5. I am dosing magnesium separately as when I was using AFR the alk was going up faster than calcium and magnesium. Maybe time to go back on AFR on the old tank.

Uff, 25 pages to catch up since yesterday! I don't think I have it in me. Good night Smorgs! Good morning @Remi @John Doe !

Tomorrow is new CBB and foxface day. And I gotta get in the kitchen so I can post some photos soon.

I appreciate your take on it Remi. I've never paid much attention to mag. I'm definitely at this stage now. I run low 1200s and I have a lot of euphyllia. Yours look amazing, this may have something to do with it.

Here's the scoop Jojo. We all like to eat. The more meat the better.
Bacon is a vegetable.
Luis has a PhD in... well everything.
Does magnesium matter?
I'm growing white worms now woo hoo, thanks Wes!
Walker and Mike bought all the nice corals available online, so maybe wait to purchase for a while.
Oh yeah...DON'T CLEAN YOUR GRILL! #TEAMBOTULISM
We missed you, I hope your treasure troll snails are thriving.

Holy guacamole! It all looks so great!
Thanks man. I had a coral warfare event and almost everything took a hit. I had to scramble and figure out what to do. I'm just thankful to have everything looking good, but I did sustain some losses.

Haha, hel.l yeah! What temp do you shoot for on the worms?

Highest temp that little wine fridge goes to, 65F. They would do fine in the office now, but when summer rolls around and they cut the A/C on the weekends they'd be cooked. Looking for a chiller or a space A/C for that reason. The 40gal was hitting 81-82 with all fans blasting last summer. I'm afraid the 83gal won't be able to cool off at all without some help.

I'm really excited to get this started. Any way to stretch the hobby, ya know?

@kingranch2003 view from the sofa orange filter and no filter.
Remi, that looks a BRS photo! I love the two tanks next to each other. Your euphyllia garden spans the entire top of the rock work. You never see that, so beautiful.

What was the haul?
Whole lotta nothing for me. Couple small rookies that were too small to keep, and and some Burbot(cusk) that were thrown back.
