Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
3 so far. My two wrasses and tsb. The scooter blenny is 50/50 at this point.
Unfortunately, those are 3 fairly sensitive fish. The Tailspot can be hardy, but most Blennies are sensitive to changes.

Why does everyone think I’m always joking, am I a joke on this thread? 🤔

Definitely not a joke. You are quite funny with some of your posts, yes. Which, I personally, find very entertaining!

This is good knowledge. I have to learn from this.

I was going to ask if you thought dropping the aerator stone behind the aio wall would be OK bc it was wreaking havoc in the display.
That will be fine

At least some of them are alive brother! That is great news right there

I definitely agree. I feel like as long as they're alive, im not going backwards.

Surface agitation John.
Got a powerhead?
Surface agitation is generally thought to be more advantageous overall than air stones. I always use both, well not air-stones per se but still bubbles.

Except during coral feeding, I always have surface agitation from either gyre or propeller-style pumps plus I run the Tunze 9004 in my sump (I have an AIO so my sump is also called chambers but it's still a sump just directly inline--sorry lost my chain of thought--my wife decided to clean the acrylic and we both heard a crash--had to go scoop the yellow wrasse off the tile floor and toss it back in the tank, now where was I?), the Tunze is dual purpose, it skims some organics but it is designed for a smaller tank (60 gallon max) but mainly it adds aeration without introducing any salt creep.

First of all that's excellent information. Secondly, you saved your wrasse and were just like....?

You already have a lemon damsel?
It was sold to me smaller as a “yellow chromis” which is a real fish, peaceful, and seldom collected. I thought I was buying a unique peaceful yellow fish. A few weeks later he became aggressive and the coloration came in and I realized it’s a damsel. I contacted the vendor. They realized it also. They tried to make a school of yellow chromis in their main display, and they all ended up being mean damsels lol. I was refunded and for a sincere apology. Now, he’s OK. He doesn’t tolerate new fish, and nobody’s allowed by his cave or they get a chasin’

Did you just fry them? I always just eat them raw and have never cooked cooked them.
Steamed them until they were a bright green. Two tablespoons olive oil 6 cloves of garlic. Fry until garlic starts turning golden brown. Two tablespoons of Soy sauce and add the peas fry for 4 minutes. I eat them raw as well when I’m working on the garden.
