Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Um, we are not allowed to use the “I “ word anymore more, just ask the Gaurdians. It is now referred to as indigenous people summer. I hope Rev doesn’t see your post, I know there was no ill intent, I just don’t want you to go the way of Amanda.
I changed it. Not politically correct but that's what it was always known as.

Paul, that is incredible brother
fiberglassing the concave interior of this is just the pits. I had to tape the glass to the wood then keep adjusting it as it got wet. and to have to do all this while everything is wet. the exterior should be a lot easier. the filled seams don't need to be wet still for the exterior.

I guess you could technically call it a Guardians Summer, if you don't mind throwing up a little in your mouth. Boy do I dislike that stupid name, makes me want to disown my birthplace.

Looks like whether I planned on it or not, I have more tank work to do today. Look at what just showed up at my door. It's the Bluetti Elite 100 V2 I won on R2R a few weeks ago. Kind of exited to hook it to the tank.

That's awesome!! I plan on having a back up power supply installed when I'm doing my tank upgrade. It'll give me time to fire up the generator or give me time if I'm away from the house if the power goes out. I want to install a Generac for the whole house, but the wife is vetoing that at the moment. If she knew how much I've dumped in to the 40g temporary tank, we'd have two! LOL

I'm probably going to pick up a solar panel for it. We've been looking into whole house solar backup since I figure solar may work pretty well in Arizona at least a little bit of time.

Doesn't the sun shine 24/7 there? I think that is what Tim said... or he said it feels like it shines that much... LOL

Except my house happens to be oriented wrong for solar. Probably one of only 10 houses in all of Arizona where solar costs more than it'll save. I believe they quoted me at 45 years to pay it back with the savings...

Think of it as a long term investment

Not looking at roof top solar, just backup solar generators and portable panels. I don't really see the return on investment from rooftop solar.

I plan on being in this house for no more than 10 more years. Once my kids are gone and I retire I don't have any need for a big house. Sell this, buy some land, live happily ever after.
