Currently battling some gha but still pretty proud as it has taken a lot of learning to get here

Those small tanks can be challenging; good job!

So cool! Yes, pico's can be a difficult task for sure. What kind of pico is it? Is the Torch your only inhabitant right now?

Looks great!

Let’s see, I see a Duncan polyp, Zoas, fluffy leather, some red macro alagae, and I think one more leather (mushroom?)
And yes looks awesome
Thank you, it’s a Kenya tree and no mushroom sadly but that is the plan for my next purchase, maybe you confused it with the other zoas?

thanks! It’s in a vase. Actually that’s a Duncan, and I have I sexy shrimp as well with zoas and a leather. I know the picture is horrible but that’s the best my phone could get

I thought it might be a Kenya but not brave enough to say so. As far as mixing zoas up , it could be.

Wow beautiful pico! May I ask how often you change your water?
Thanks! My original goal for this tank was to change out a cup per day. That didn't happen haha. This one has become my "throw all the rules out the window" experimental tank.

There's no fish in there, just some hermits and a random assortment of macroalgae I've collected here in Florida. It's not even running a saltwater light - it's actually a freshwater planted tank light. But the goal is to throw in a bunch of macroalgae and try to get some cool crustaceans to seed the DT with.

So with that context, the last time I did a water change was about 3 months ago, but I have a really light bioload and use macroalgae for nutrient uptake.

Same here! I only change water if something gets thrown off or the corals start to pout but it’s very little, and I only have to top off about once every one and a half to two weeks with the lid
