i think that is the poor torch is what you are mistaken for one. it is in a terrible condition and i can see it already doing a bit better after i moved it to this new tank. i hope it recovers as it was once my center peice with 8+ heads in a 12gallon nano.

Ok I hope it makes it ok. For aiptasia control if you have a few of them you probably have a lot hidden. I used Berghia nudibranches and they cleared out my tank in like a month.

I hope so, i bought it around 4 years ago and lived happily for 2 years then started degrading, i believe my flow and lighting conditions were not suitable for it back there.

for the Aiptasia i think ill be fine now, things are looking pretty clean, a Berghia will starve here and it is not available in the local market anyways, and i dont mind killing small ones occasionally if they appear to me.

Im sorry mate I have no practical experience with it and probably will never get a hold of that nudi here in Jordan in the foreseen future. so i cannot answer your question confidently, however doing a quick google i found this article which i skimmed through quickly, looks like a good write up to read:
